Product Review: Desert Essence Face Cleanse Aloe Pads

Elise Marie

Some nights I am so exhausted that I do not feel like washing my face and removing the dirt and makeup from it, which I know is bad. However, on these nights, I use the Desert Essence Face Cleanse Aloe Pads and they help remove my makeup and any dirt, oil and bacteria from my face quickly and easily without me having to sit there and wash my face with a facial cleanser and water.

The Desert Essence Face Cleanse Aloe Pads come in a green jar with 50 cleansing facial pads inside that are white in color and moist to the touch. The ingredients that help cleanse and nourish my face and skin are witch hazel, lavender, goldenseal root extract, vitamin C, vitamin A, lemongrass, chamomile, aloe, root extracts and calendula oil. I find these ingredients too also be soothing to my skin when it is dry and irritated which I really like. Another thing I like about these cleansing pads is they do not contain any harsh ingredients in them. All the ingredients in these pads are natural and earth friendly. The scent of the pads is not overly strong either, which is another plus.

The way I have been using these cleansing pads is by simply taking one or two out of the jar before bedtime and wiping my face and skin down with them in circular motions. The pads and moist enough to help take off the toughest eye makeup and lipstick which I like. On days when I do not wear makeup, I still use these pads to cleanse my skin because they really help draw the dirt and oils out of my skin and you can tell because the pads turn this brownish gray color. It is disgusting. I also find when I use these cleansing pads before bedtime to remove the junk from my face and skin I have less pimples and impurities. I also think these pads are less harsh on my skin than facial cleanser and other facial cleansing wipes and pads. My skin is soft, nourished and well cleansed after using these pads.

I would highly recommend these natural facial cleansing pads to anyone else who hates washing and removing the makeup, dirt, oils and bacteria from their face and skin before bedtime because they have really helped me take care of my skin better. I do think the pads are affordable and worth the money. I wish you all the best of luck with getting your skin cleansed and well nourished before bedtime as simply as possible.
