Product Review: Dove Cool Moisture Body Wash

For many years, I had trouble finding a decent soap to use because I have sensitive skin. And I really dislike bar soap because of how it tends to become difficult to use as it becomes smaller. Besides that, liquid soap just seems cleaner. However, a lot of different brands of body wash seem like they are a bit harsh for my skin. Most of them would leave red patches on my skin or make me itch. My search for a good body wash came to an end when I heard about the Dove Cool Moisture body wash.

On a previous season of "The Apprentice," the people on the show had to make a commercial for the Dove Cool Moisture body wash. While both teams did do a bad job of making their commercials, the product did manage to capture my attention. I went to Dove's website and requested a sample as the show encouraged the viewers to do. This was when I saw that the product contained moisturizing lotion, cucumber, and green tea.

I tried the sample after it came in the mail. Being green, it is a bit odd looking, but it does have a pleasant smell. After only one use, I was very pleased with this product. Not only did I feel clean, but my skin felt softer. Mostly, I love that it doesn't break out my skin as previous body washes have done. After I finished off the sample, I went to the store and bought the Dove Cool Moisture Body Wash. It's fairly cheap considering it comes in a huge bottle that lasts a long time.

Recently, they redesigned the bottle. I like this new design because it's easier to open and the top seems to stay cleaner. I was thankful to see that the product didn't seem to be any different. In addition to the body wash, Dove has an entire line of the Cool Moisture products. However, I haven't tried any of them.

I love the Dove Cool Moisture body wash and I hope they never discontinue it. It is the only body wash that I have ever used that was completely perfect. However, I don't recommend washing your face with it if your face is sensitive. If you have a sensitive face, please see my product review on the Clinique Extra Mild liquid facial soap. Nevertheless, I highly recommend the Dove Cool Moisture body wash for everyone and especially those with sensitive skin.
