Dove's new Cream Oil body wash comes in three different styles for different skin types, based upon the type of moisture you need most. Not only that, but each style comes in a different scent.
If you have skin that is just a bit thirsty and are craving smoother skin, you'll be trying Dove Cream Oil Delicate which comes in Jasmine and Vanilla. If your skin needs more moisture, you'll want to try the creamy style which comes in Cherry Blossom and Almond. And for those that are in dire need for moisture quickly, you'll want to use ultra rich which is scented with Rosewood and Cocoa Butter.
At school, I'm subjected to heavily chlorinated water, which is something I'm not used, so naturally I end up with horribly dry skin by the time school lets out. I decided that my best bet would be to try a body wash that would help hydrate my skin in the shower so I wouldn't have to rely on lotion night and day. When I heard about Dove's new cream oil line, I decided to try it because Dove usually has excellent products, and I was not disappointed with this one.
I tried Dove's creamy cream oil body was that, if you recall is scented like cherry blossoms and almonds. What really turned my onto this product is the fact that it really smells like cherry blossoms, so every shower is kind of a breath of fresh air. It is not an over powering scent however, it's just strong enough, yet subtle enough to make a great impact.
I noticed a huge difference after the first shower. My skin felt a lot smoother than it had previously, and it certainly didn't feel as moisture deprived than I have been so used too. It's easy to lather up with, but I felt it only has one draw back; to really get an all over lather a small size amount will not go a long way. I can't speak for everyone in this department, as I'm sure everyone has different feelings about this, but I like being able to make a little go a long way. If this is one of the main priorities when using a body wash product, I would consider whether or not you really want the moisture, or if you really want to make a little go a long way.
I really like the fact that natural oils are used in this body wash, but it doesn't feel oily. It feels natural, and doesn't leave skin feeling oily, over washed, or over hydrated. It leaves skin feeling just right.
If you are in need of a new body wash, I would definitely recommend trying Dove's Cream Oil Body Wash line!

Post a CommentI dont know if the "Former Readers Digest Subscriber" fully understand the morale behind the Dove marketing campaign. It is called the campaign for real beauty. Yes i will agree, they do flaunt around women in their underwear. But look at Axe. Axe, another Unilever company, flaunts around "Perfect" women. Size 0 with 34D breasts. Dove has women that you will actually find everyday. These ads are to promote "Sex Appeal" (If thats what you would like to call it). It is meant to say that no matter what a women looks like you are beautiful. it is meant to say that any women you bring in from the street is sexy. Alot of these women would not be willing to go around in their underwear before this campaign. Im just making sure that you understand that dove is not using these women for their sex appeal, because to be frank, ten years ago a company would go very downhill if they used these models as models. I just figured that i would clarify any misconceptions you may have. I hope you read thi
I Tthink you would sell more products if you had more clothes on your models. Seriously yes they are eye catching but they would still be if they were more decently clothed. You do women a disservice when you flaunt them in underwear. There is so much more to a woman then their "sex appeal". Try a new approach. Your latest add in Reader's Digest cost them my subscription and I am not going to buy any Dove products anytime soon as long as you maintain this policy of advertising.
I love Dove products. Great review.
