My first purchase of Dr. Denese's line of specialized skin care was the firming facial pads. I bought this product from Ebay for a fraction of the retail price. I figured I'd have less to lose if I didn't like the product.
The directions that were given was to use in the evening after cleansing and toning. You would take one of the individual soaked pads and lightly wipe your face in a gentle motion. Since this product contains glycolic acid, 10% to be exact, you are warned that there might be some slight burning. It is recommended to rinse with cold water if you begin to feel uncomfortable.
I couldn't wait to try these pads as I have purchased glycolic treatments in the past and had excellent results. Dr. Denese's pads were no exception, although a more milder strength. I felt the pads left my skin tingly, and I felt the sensation of the product working instantly. My skin felt extremely soft and toned, and had a renewed glow.
I believe this product works very well with other skin care serums and moisturizers to allow optimum absorption into your skin. My skin definitely looks younger and firmer. It's been recommended by other users to cut the pads in half so you can double your treatment.
I remember watching Dr. Denese on Oprah and thinking how beautiful she was. Her skin was like porceline and she had a glow about her that transcended the small t.v. screen. She also appeared to be very sincere and not the usual sales guru. Her products seem to be revolutionary in the fact that the combinations of ingredients she uses are of the highest quality.
I would highly recommend adding this product to your beauty regime. As we get older, our skin benefits from the collagen renewal benefit of glycolic acid. A product that can be used daily in a gentle and very effective way.
