Earth and Water Mascara Duo from Eyes Lips Face, E.L.F. is my new favorite mascara. It is a duo applicator. It is cost effective. It is highly rated.

The mascara is smudge and smear proof. On one end, there is waterproof mascara and on the other end, regular mascara. No more need for two or more tubes of mascara. Each day you can choose which mascara to use depending upon your conditions. The mascara works well with one coat but you can apply a second coat without clumping or smearing.

The cost can't be beat at one dollar a tube. You heard me right, one dollar. I know you are going to dismiss it because you think it cheap. Well, it isn't. The great thing about the price is you can afford to change your tube often, which will promote good eye care. No longer do you need to worry about transmitting germs or bacteria to your eyelashes with outdated mascara. If you have a cold or illness, you can afford to change your mascara, as you should. You don't have to do the smell test; you can just throw out your mascara and replace it with a new tube. Now you can afford to buy multiple tubes of mascara for the price of your usual mascara.

The mascara is highly rated. There are over 160 review of the product on their website. Oprah has promoted ELF products in O magazine as well as Elle, Real Simple, Good Housekeeping, Lucky, InStyle and Self, while the list goes on. Many of E.L.F.'s products have won awards. Most recently, their shimmering face whip just won Allure's Best of Beauty Award.

Most items on the E.L.F. website are a dollar. While their mineral line fetches a bit more but still very reasonably priced. They offer a full line of cosmetics including kits and brushes. There are many products offered in a good variety of color choices. You can afford to try different colors as well as items you might not normally buy. E.L.F. also runs specials so it is effective to sign up for their emails to get the discount codes and be informed of the discounts.

Overall, I am happy with E.L.F. 's mascara and I will continue to purchase it. I have tried a number of other items while I have only found a few I didn't like due to my skin coloration and not the products themselves.
