My life is filled with migraine moments. Working cattle, taking care of grandchildren, remodeling and construction tasks and the general chaos that goes with living, farming and working.
My daughter, a migraine sufferer, introduced me to Excedrin Migraine. It didn't take long to prove the product's efficiency. Days went by and everyone in the family began reaching for the Excedrin bottle.
A potent combination of acetaminophen, aspirin and caffeine, Excedrin makes a difference in just a few minutes. Unlike some products I've tried, Excedrin relief lasts. Headaches don't return, requiring another dose of medicine. The geltabs are easy to swallow.
While Excedrin is an effective pain reliever, it is important to follow the dosage directions on the product. Don't take Excedrin Migraine in addition to other products containing acetaminophen or aspirin.
Excedrin Warnings
Excedrin contains aspirin and therefore shouldn't be used by children and teenagers recovering from chicken pox or flu-like symptoms because of the danger of Reye's syndrome.
Aspirin can cause allergic reactions, including hives, facial swelling, asthma and shock. These reactions can be severe and require medical attention.
People who drink 3 or more alcoholic beverages a day should consult their physicians before taking products containing acetaminophen or aspirin.
The recommended dose of Excedrin contains caffeine in the equivalent of one cup of coffee. Limit your use of caffeine products while taking Excedrin.
Be sure to check with your physician if you have:
>never been diagnosed with migraines
>a headache that is different from your usual headaches
>the worst headache you've ever had
>fever and stiff neck
>daily headaches
>a migraine so severe you have to go to bed
>asthma
>bleeding problems
>ulcers
>heartburn, indigestion or other stomach pain and problems that don't go away
>ulcers
>vomiting with your migraine headache
Excedrin Migraine Directions:
Adults: 2 tablets with a glass of water, no more than 2 tablets in 24 hours.
Some studies show that 90% of people suffer from at least one headache a year. Sixteen to seventeen percent of people get a migraine at some point. Migraines are often confused with sinus headaches.
My family tree holds medical histories that include both migraines and sinus headache problems. I take Excedrin Migraine at the first sign of a headache and don't try to distinguish between sinus headaches and migraine headaches.
I like knowing I can rely on Excedrin Migraine to stop headache pain and I can get on with whatever I need to be doing.
