This week I have been trying a sample of the Fekkai Shea Butter Moisturizing Shampoo, which came in a 0.3-ounce packet, which was very easy to tear open in the shower. The shampoo actually contains natural nourishing ingredients in it that help repair and nourish my hair as I am washing it. So far, I have actually liked using this shampoo and would recommend it to someone to use daily for washing his or her dry hair.
The shea butter shampoo is thick and smooth in texture with a shimmering appearance to it. It lathers up very well in wet hair with tons of foamy little bubbles that smell like honeysuckle, which is so strong. The natural nourishing ingredients in it are vitamins, minerals, carrot root, chamomile, shea butter, oat protein, coconut oil, verbena and honey. These natural ingredients so far have not only cleansed my hair well, but have also added shine, softness and texture to my hair while soothing my spilt ends and frizz.
The way I have been using this shea butter shampoo is by rinsing my hair down well with plenty of hot water until it is soaked. Then I squeezed a quart size amount of the shampoo out of the packet into my hands and lathered my long thick fine hair and scalp up with it for about one minute. After I simply rinsed the shampoo out of my hair well with more warm water and I must say the shampoo rinsed out well without leaving any residue behind in it. Then I simply towel dried my hair and styles it as usual. My hair was manageable and easy to comb out without having to use a hair conditioner because the shampoo was so moisturizing and nourishing to my hair.
Now there was enough shampoo in the little packet it came in for two good hair washes and too really feel how well the shampoo cleanses and nourishes. I would recommend the Fekkai Shea Butter Moisturizing Shampoo to any male or female to use with dry damaged hair because it helped repair my hair in two days. I do hope those of you who end up trying this shampoo out as well like it as much as I have. I wish you all the best of hair days ahead.
