Christmas holidays are right around the corner, and it is time to find that perfect infant toy. There is nothing like the first Christmas for your infant. Sometimes it can be quite taxing to find toys for a baby. There are several different ways you can go; personalized toys, educational toys, or something with lots of lights and sounds. No matter if shopping online or in stores, you are on the hunt for holiday gifts or ideals for Christmas memories that will last a lifetime.

The problem with shopping for you infant is there are no Santa letters lying around the crib to tell you what they want or will enjoy. Knowledge of your baby and of what you want convey to them is al you have to go on. One of the things I've learn when Christmas shopping for my sons when they were infant age was that there was a variety of items that I could choose from with Fisher-Price.

The Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Home is a wonderful educational toy for infants. There is nothing that a parent wants more than to keep their baby safe and to give them a good educational foundation. Well, the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Home provides both as a safe and educational toy.

The stand-up play-toy provides tons of activities on both sides of the house. With sing-along songs, activities, music, speech and sounds, you infant learns their letters, numbers, how to count, shapes, colors, and much more. Starting from the tender age of 6 months all the way up to 3 years old, this will be a toy that you child can keep and learn off of for years.

There are two interactive play modes; learning time and music time. In the learning time play mode the child uses the sing-along radio to learn the alphabet. The also learns counting by dropping balls in the rainspout and is rewarded with music they get it right. Numbers are introduced with spin house numbers and moving clock dials. They will learn their opposites such as: up and down, open and close, day and night, off and on.

Music time mode has wonderful sounds and songs to engage any infant. There are 21 sing-along songs such as: Itsy-Bitsy Spider, Hickory Dickory Dock, and Doggy in the Window. The musical radio offers wonderful songs and encouraging phrases on several different radio stations.

There are also 2 different ways to learn. One is the Early Academics and it is the introduction to objects, numbers, letters, colors and shapes. This mode starts your baby off in the right direction to learning to talking, developing thinking and development skills, and problem-solving. The other way to learn is Everyday Experiences. This mode makes the connection for the baby to things in their home and surroundings and stimulates curiosity.

Christmas is a magical time of the year with Christmas parties, Christmas trees, and holiday decorations. It also can be a magical time for your infant as they are introduces to the wonderful lights and sounds of Christmas. They can also learn a thing or two with the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Home.
