If you are looking for a great piece of cardio equipment that will work your entire body and yet fold small enough to take up hardly any space in your house, consider checking out the Fold-A-Way Rowing Machine from Brookstone. The machine costs about $200 and is solid enough that it will last you for many years. Rowing machines are known as being a great value among exercise equipment because they offer a complete body workout at an affordable price so you do not need to buy several pieces of equipment. This is a great machine to have to use when you do not feel like going to the gym because it does everything at once.

Rowing machines are useful because they not only burn large amounts of calories, they also build muscle mass at the same time. This product will tone your arms, abs, butt, and thighs all at the same time while improving your heart and lung performance. Rowing also is lower impact than activities such as jogging, which is great especially if you are getting older or have joint problems.

The Fold-A-Way Rowing Machine has a built in monitor that shows the number of strokes, cadence, and calories burned. The monitor is easy to see while you are using it. This monitor runs off two AA batteries so you do not need to worry about plugging the machine in. You can change the tension on the rower as you get stronger so that it grows along with you and will provide a good workout for years. The seat height is adjustable which can make for a harder workout or more comfortable position for a taller person.

The rower folds up much smaller than I expected it to. It actually folds flat enough to fit under my bed which I love because I do not have a lot of room in my small apartment. I have owned other exercise equipment that is marketed as compact and foldable, but this product really is easy to set up and put away. It only takes me a few seconds.

I also appreciate that this device is quiet while using it. I can watch TV or listen to music at a normal level and not worry about hurting my ears.

I have been using my rower about 4 times a week for a little over a year now and have had no problems with it.
