These chips come in the typical yellowish / orangish Fritos bag. The Fritos brand is printed in the red circle like usual. However, at the bottom, it is green with a picutres of the corn chips and a picture of corn. There's text that lets consumers know that the pictures of the chips are enlarged to show the texture. There's a darker green strip with white words that say, "Tangy Roasted Corn."
The nutrition facts and ingredients are listed on the back of the bag. The logo and the green strip with the flavor also appear on the back. Even the green bottom is continued on the back of the bag.
What the product promises:
On the back of the bag, the first thing stated is, "Based on an authentic snack sold around the world, Fritos Tangy Roasted Corn Flavored Corn Chips have a savory blend of 3 simply flavors: roasted corn, Mexican spices, and a twist of lime."
The next thing stated is, "Enjoy the delicious taste and hearty crunch of Fritos Tangy Roasted Corn Flavored Chips!"
The chips are also guaranteed to be fresh.
What the product offers:
When the bag is first opened, it looks like Fritos with something like a barbecue flavoring on them. The flavoring is a red to orange type of color. However, that is definitely not the taste. The tastes that are prominent are spices and cheese. There is a hint of lime, but it is not easy to detect. It makes the chips not as hot as they would be without it. The reason cheese is tasted is because cheddar cheese is one of the ingredients. This is probably included in the "Mexican spices."
The chips are quite spicy, but they are not so spicy that it feels like the mouth is on fire. They have a flavor that will last for a bit in the mouth that is quite pleasant.
Is it worth it?
Yes, this product is worth it. As long as the product does not cost a dollar more than what consumers would pay for a normal bag of Fritos of the same size.

This product is not safe for people with dairy allergies.
There is a phone number on the back for questions, comments and complaints. 1-800-352-4477 can be called on weekdays from 9am to 4:30pm central time.
