As a convertible laptop, the Lifebook T2010's 12.1" display has a bi-directional hinge which when twisted, the laptop becomes a tablet PC. The 12.1" display has an excellent viewing quality, the 300nits brightness ensures that users can use the notebook both indoors and outdoors, while the wide viewing angle of the screen makes watching DVDs enjoyable. As a tablet PC, you can write or draw on the screen like a conventional notepad and the special pen and active digitizer allows for more accurate pen-driven input.
Weighing in at just 3.52 pounds (if a 6 cell battery is used) and an additional 0.32 pounds with 9-cell battery, the Fujitsu Lifebook T2010 is a breeze to carry around and with the 3 axis shock sensor, users wouldn't have to worry about loss of data when the notebook has been mishandled or has met an accident while traveling.
The Fujitsu Lifebook T2010 also comes with advanced security features that can prevent unauthorized access of the device. Fujitsu has equipped the T2010 with built-in safety measures such as BIOS lock, hard disk lock, LifeBook lock, Smartcard support and anti-theft lock slot, in addition to the built-in fingerprint scanner. The Smartcard slot allows users to store passwords and other information unto a small plastic card, while the BIOS lock features password protected BIOS to prevent unauthorized changes of the notebook's BIOS. Even though a small device, battery life is not compromised as a 9 cell battery allows up to 11 hours of use.
