Fuzzi Bunz are a type of cloth diaper known as a pocket diaper. Fuzzi Bunz are the original pocket diaper. The diaper has a water-proof, but breathable, outside lining and an inside lining made of soft micro-fleece. A pocket opening in the back allows you to put inserts into the diaper. By choosing they type and quantity of inserts in a diaper, you can adjust the absorbency.
Quantity and type of inserts allow you to customize the diaper for day time, night time, or a heavy wetter. Fuzzi Bunz use snaps to close the diaper providing an adjustable fit. Two rows of snaps allow you to fit the diaper properly at both the legs and waist. The adjustable snaps along with mini-gussets around the legs provide a diaper that fits properly and won't leak. No disposable diaper can give you the custom fit of a Fuzzi Bunz. Fuzzi Bunz are available in six sizes; extra small, small, medium, large, extra large, and petite toddler. Don't let all the sizes fool you though, a Fuzzi Bunz will fit for months. My potty-training two year old can still wear the mediums that were bought when she was under a year old.
Fuzzi Bunz are available in a wide range of colors and a few prints too. A Fuzzi Bunz retails for $17.95. Each diaper includes one micro-terry insert. This may seem like quite a bit of money up front, but Fuzzi Bunz are an investment that will save you money in the long run. Many online stores such as The Fuzzi Bunz Store offer great deals and special packages for those just starting out that need to build their stash. Caring for Fuzzi Bunz are easy too. Shake any solids into the toilet and place the soiled diaper in a washable hanging pail or pail liner. A cold rinse and a hot wash with a bit of recommended detergent will do the trick. Fuzzi Bunz can then be dried on low heat.
Many people wonder, why bother with cloth diapers. There are several reasons. Using cloth diapers is better for the environment. Think about all the diapers one baby produces in a day. Cloth diapers provide a custom fit, and they are better for babies skin since they are not filled with chemicals. Fuzzi Bunz make cloth diapering so easy. Why not give them a try?
