What can this magical disc be? It is simply the GameDr excelerator Laser Blast Optical Lens Cleaner for video game consoles. It is a lengthy name, that is for sure, so I will not refer to is as the GameDr.
The GameDr is easy to use, and it does it's job pretty fast (in a matter of a minute or so). All you need to do is insert the gameDr disc with the graphics side facing upward, like a regular disc, press play, and then follow the instructions. The GameDr does it's job quickly and efficiently. But how does the GameDr work? The GameDr disc contains little brushes on the disc, which you will easily see upon opening the GameDr case. These little brushes help clean the lens of the video game console, or DVD player that you is giving you the "Disc Read Error", or won't read the disc at all.
The GameDr disc case says it is compatible with the Microsoft X-Box, Nintendo Gamecube (i'll explain this in a moment), and Sony Playstation 2 consoles. But I believe it is safe to say that the GameDr disc is compatible with the Microsoft X-Box 360, Nintendo Wii, and the Sony Playstation 3. The GameDr is compatible with the Nintendo Gamecube since the GameDr comes with not one, but two discs. The discs that come with the GameDr are a regular sized disc which is compatible with all the game consoles aside from the Nintendo Gamecube. The other disc that comes from the GameDr is a much smaller disc, which is the size of a regular Nintendo Gamecube game disc.
How does the GameDr clean the lens? The GameDr uses a "Cyclone Clean Process", which contains three stages of cleaning. This cleaning process helps remove dust and dirt from the lens of the DVD player or video game console of your choice.
The GameDr is made by Digital Innovations. Digital Innovations suggests that you use the GameDr after every 10 hours of use, and that you also replace your GameDr after the brushes on your gameDr become visibly worn.
