Product Review of Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Moisture Lotion

This Stuff Works...even For Guys

Todd B.
I, like many, have issues with my face. My face dries out easily and quickly, and it can get pretty annoying. A quick fix for dryness is a face moisturizer. Being a male, I tried many of the face products geared toward men...and found that many didn't quite work the way that I wanted them to. Many left my face greasy or slimy; others didn't completely take care of the dryness issue. Because of this, I would use more lotion than the makers intended, flying through moisturizer without the results I wanted.

It is then that I began to go beyond the moisturizers aimed toward men to finally find a moisturizer that took care of my needs. Enter Garnier Nutritioniste "Skin Renew" Daily Regenerating Moisture Lotion. Marketed more toward women, I found Garnier's Skin Renew perfect for my situation.

It's All Good

The first thing I noticed about Garnier Nutritioniste's Skin Renew is that it was one of the first moisturizers I found that did not leave my face feeling greasy or slimy. The product moisturized my skin without adding any oil or leaving any residue. Skin Renew also moisturized my face to the point that no dryness occurred. Even a very small amount of lotion worked perfectly for my skin.

Garnier Nutritioniste's Skin Renew Moisture Lotion manages a pretty big bang for your buck. A 2.5 oz bottle costs around $12.99. The bottle, however, lasted months for me while using it daily. I was surprised by how long it lasted until I stopped to think about how much I was using per use; again, one or two pumps did the trick.

Another plus that I found with Garnier Nutritioniste's Skin Renew Moisture Lotion was how well it worked with other products of the same line. I've tried facial products that were part of a set or line, and used multiple products only to find my face as dried out or greasy as ever. Using Garnier's Nutritioniste line, I found that multiple products worked well together. I have not used every product, but I did find that the Microbead Cream Scrub worked well as a face wash. It did not dry out my skin, and even if it dried it out a little bit, the moisture lotion fixed that issue.

I'll be honest...I've tried to find something wrong with this product. I've found so many face products that didn't work for me that I assumed there had to be a kink. Not every moisturizer will work for everyone, but anyone (male or female) in my position skincare-wise may find solace in Garnier Nutritioniste's Skin Renew Moisture Lotion.
