Product Review: GE .7 Cu. Ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave Oven
A Review of GE Microwave Oven Model # JES738WJ
I've used it for six months now, and I'm able to defrost, heat and cook the same items as i did with my larger GE
Microwave. The only difference is the length of time it may take. But that's to be expected, because this unit is only .7 Cu. Feet.
What I like about this GE Countertop Microwave Oven is that it's not heavy. You can easily move it to clean your counter, and the microwave itself is easy to clean.
It has a turntable that you can remove and put in your dishwasher, or just clean with a damp dish towel or paper towel. The oven itself can be cleaned the same way.
Although I loved my built-in GE Microwave, I did hate having to clean the vents above it. With this microwave however, you don't have to worry about vents.
It is a convenient and easy to maintain microwave oven. I've seen them sold on line for $89 dollars or more, but don't waste your money. I got mine from Wal-Mart for $54 dollars.
You can purchase this particular model in white only, but it would still go with any color scheme in your inside kitchen or outside kitchen.
As I already stated, it has a turntable, but it also has an on/off timer that can help count down your cooking minutes, it can defrost anything up to 6 pounds, and it has a control lockout that prevents the oven from accidentally activating. This is a particularly good feature to have if small children are in your household.
This is such a wonderful microwave oven that I would recommend buying one for your child to take to college, or buy one for yourself and put it out on the patio or lanai when you're having a party.
It only weighs 26 pounds, and it is 10 3/16 inches high X 17 7/8 wide X 13 inches deep. It has an instant-on feature, a clock and it has a one year limited parts warranty.
You will have no problems heating beverages, pizzas, cooking popcorn, potatoes, rice and vegetables. You can also defrost any meat or poultry up to 6 pounds.
I would give this GE .7 Cu. Ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave Oven a rating of five stars. It really produces for the money I paid. In fact it is better than I thought it would be.
So if you're in the market for a GE Countertop Microwave Oven, then this is your best bet. You can probably still purchase them from Wal-Mart, go check it out today.
