Product Review: Granger Regular Black Angus Beef Patties

Annette Robbins
For a delicious well formed hamburger, try Granger Black Angus Regular Beef Patties distributed by Aldi, Inc. Aldi, Inc is a German based retail grocery chain located throughout the United States. In our household, we follow the "no complicated cooking on Saturdays" rule which has endured throughout our forty years of marriage. So, when we wondered what easy meal could be prepared for our Saturday dinner, we reached into the freezer and pulled out two Granger Regular Black Angus Beef patties.

Black Angus Regular Beef Patties are packaged in a red and black rectangular box with white lettering and gold script describing the contents. The contents bear the "US inspected and passed by the Department of Agriculture seal" and the net weight of the package is 32 ounces or two pounds. The product is to be kept frozen and is sealed in plastic packaging to ensure product freshness. Granger Beef Regular Black Angus Beef Patties are made with 100% pure Black Angus Beef and each package contains six one third pound Black Angus Beef Patties. The side panel lists two other varieties of Black Angus Beef Patties: Jalapeno, Monterey Jack Black Angus Beef Patties and Bacon & Cheddar Black Angus Beef Patties. I am impressed with the individually wrapped quick frozen patties with the entire package over wrapped in a plastic covering.

Cooking Instructions
Granger Regular Black Angus Beef Patties can be cooked in a skillet or on your broiler or an outdoor grill. Whatever cooking method selected, the patty is cooked and seasoned in its frozen state. I slowly pan fried the hamburgers and seasoned the Granger Regular Black Angus Beef Patties with pepper and Goya Adobe seasoned salt. There is very little shrinkage of the patties. As with all meat products, use safe handling techniques such as proper refrigeration of any leftovers and keep raw meat separate from other foods as well as thoroughly washing your hands after handling raw meat.

Serving Suggestions
You can serve the Granger Regular Beef Black Angus Beef Patties on the traditional hamburger roll or for an interesting variety, use other breads such as pita or then circular bread. Top with your favorite condiments and serve with a green or pasta salad.

I served the Granger Regular Black Angus Beef Patty on one slice of bread, cut in half and topped each half with relish and catsup. Alternatively, you can cut each half in half and each resulting quadrant can be eaten as a wedge. Soup goes well with hamburgers and Granger Regular Black Angus Beef Patties are no exception. Grangers Regular Black Angus Beef Patties without a bun go well with a one pot meal of potatoes and string beans, a favorite in our household.

Money back Guarantee
Granger Black Angus Regular Beef Patties offer a double guarantee for quality, taste and satisfaction with the offer to replace the product and refund of your money if you are dissatisfied in any way with Black Angus Beef Patties. With such an offer, you have nothing to lose. So, when you have a desire to treat yourself to a hamburger, I recommend Granger Regular Black Angus Beef Patties for a delicious taste treat to satisfy that yearning for the all American favorite "good ole" hamburger.

I don't know much about meat since I don't eat it, but my fiance eats meat like a cave man so I like quick and easy meat meals- this sounds like a winner!
