Product Review: Green Works by Clorox

Green Works natural all-purpose cleaner in original scent is a really good cleaner made by Clorox without all the harsh chemicals because it is based on a coconut oil formula. For those who don't like the smell of coconut, they can relax because I find it smells more like lemon than coconut. My boss swears by it. She uses Clorox Anywhere spray and Green Works to do most of the cleaning at the daycare and it rarely smells like dirty diapers there.

Green Works gets fresh tomato ketchup out of light colored rugs and does a number on red Jello on rugs too. It gets out tough stains that could potentially ruin a light colored fabric without ruining it. While I believe there are certain natural products that can do more harm than good, Green Works is a really good alternative for those who are worried about a harsh chemical or buildup of toxins from harsh chemicals.

It works well cleaning up food off of hard surfaces too. I use it to wipe down tables and high chairs and I even bought it for my bathroom at home. I am pleased with the product and think it is good that you can clean without worrying about toxicity.

It was never tested on animals and is plant and mineral based. It uses biodegradable ingredients and is really good at giving a good fresh clean. I am not one to think that there is global warming. But I do love going bird watching and love going to the park. So I feel good about buying something that replaces potentially harsh chemicals that could cause fumes that could harm you. I think it is reasonably priced and for the type of cleaning we do everyday, I feel safe using it.

It works naturally. Which is good. But they say if you let water soak on something long enough it will get clean. So I don't know exactly how harsh you really need your cleaners. But since I have to use it everyday, I am glad it isn't as harsh.

Using it everyday around kids, you see many wonderful messes it zips up. It really is great. It is effective and seems to be safe around toddlers. So many times we take for granted all the wonderful new products. But this one really is a whole lot better for everyday use and cleaning up around children.
