Product Review: Grey Poupon Introduces Three New Mustard's

PamIam
"Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon? But of course." Everyone remembers those lines from the infamous Grey Poupon commercials with the Rolls Royces. Odes to the commercial even ended up in television shows and movies like Wayne's World, Family Matters, and Married with Children as well as in songs. Expanding its line from the classic dijon, Grey Poupon has introduced three new varieties of mustard available now; Savory Honey, Harvest Coarse Ground, and Hearty Spicy Brown.

Many cooks say, "Mustard means Grey Poupon Dijon." With a reputation like that these new mustards have big shoes to fill, and all three of the new mustards deliver in a big way. The Savory Honey has clover honey in it without giving up its mustard flavor. It provides a nice hint of sweetness but is not too sugary like many honey mustards. The Savory Honey mustard makes a wonderful salad dressing or dipping sauce.

The Harvest Coarse Ground has whole mustard mustard seeds in it. It has a bold, distinct mustard flavor. The whole mustard seeds add a nice texture to any recipe or sandwich this mustard is used on. The Harvest Coarse Ground makes a great everyday mustard that is anything but ordinary.

The Hearty Spicy Brown mustard has a nice kick with its diced yellow onions and horseradish. It will give your sandwich or meal a bit of heat. Competing with mustards from all over the world, the Harvest Coarse won the gold medal in the coarse grain mustard category, and the Hearty Spicy Brown won the bronze medal in the deli/brown mustard category during the annual Napa Valley Mustard Festival.

All of these mustards deliver the distinct, quality taste one would expect from the Grey Poupon brand. These mustards will dress up any meal whether your using it on a hot dog or sandwich or in a main dish. Using the mustards as a pretzel dip makes and easy and delicious snack. Replace one for your usual plain mustard and you'll have a gourmet meal.

Grey Poupon Savory Honey, Harvest Coarse Ground, and Hearty Spicy Brown mustard all have no fat and under ten calories per serving, so even if you are on a diet you can enjoy something with flavor. Check out the Grey Poupon website for some tasty recipes that use these new mustards. At $2.89 Grey Poupon is "one of life's finer pleasures" in which everyone can indulge, and you'll want to try all three.
