Pros
This little food processor has so many good things about it I don't know which one to tell first.
Okay, the first strong point of this machine is definitely the performance. It has a very powerful motor that would slice, grind and chop every food item you feed into it without any problem. It's also able to knead bread dough and pie crust which is really a demanding task for a food processor.
Next is the build quality. This machine is definitely a well built one; sturdy and strong. The weight is just right, not too heavy so that an elderly can move it around easily. It looks nice too and doesn't take too much space in your kitchen.
Once you're done using this machine you definitely need to wash it, right? Well, you need nothing more than water and dish soap to clean this appliance. Just be very careful. The blades are really sharp and you should pay more attention to that fact when washing. Sharp blades and slippery hands are not a very safe combo.
The final strong point is the price. You can get this thing for less than $35 which is a ridiculous bargain considering its quality. I don't know what Hamilton Beach's marketing is thinking selling such a great piece of food processor for such a low price but it's all good for me.
Cons
The most noticeable minus point for this food processor is that the blade is quite far from the bottom. When you're chopping less than a cup of peanut, for example, some of the nuts are not chopped finely enough. Next on the list is the sound. This thing is pretty loud though not exactly louder than other food processor.
Conclusion
The Hamilton Beach 70450 6-Cup food processor is a reliable, fast and durable piece of kitchen appliance. In short, just buy it! It's only a freaking $35 food processor! Even if it'll break after two years of service you will already get your money's worth.
