This is one of those products I wish I had discovered a lot sooner. I am not even sure how I got turned onto it in the first place but it is an essential in my home medicine cabinet. I also keep a stick in my bag at all times for when we are out of the house or traveling.
The scent is pleasing if you love lavender like me. It is a tiny bit greasy but you really don't need that much of it. A little goes a long way.
This product is not only good for baby but everyone in your family! it is very gentle too so even those with sensitive skin can use it as well!
The ingredients in this baby salve are;
Organic cannabis sativa oil, candellia wax, organic lavender and chamomile flowers, calendula, myrrh infused in sunflower oil, organic sesame and canola oil, essential oils of lavender tea tree and rosemary, vitamin E and rosemary extract.
This is a mostly organic product. It is 100% vegan. Hemp seed oil is known for it's good fatty acids in promoting healing. Calendula and chamomile are soothing and myrrh and tea tree oil fight bacteria that can cause infections.
The Merry Hempsters is an ecologically minded company that promotes the beneficial uses of cannabis sativa seed oil. All products are packed in recycled packaging and are made in small batches to ensure quality.
The convenient stick form is what has me sold on this item. Have you ever tried applying medicine to a screaming baby's butt or a cut or scrape? Not much fun! This stick makes it really easy to get the medicine on and I like the fact that it is not petroleum based and is all natural.
You can find the Hemp Baby Salve at most health food stores or through your drugstore. I ordered mine online. The average price for a stick is $3.99 but I paid about $1 less for mine. I have had the stick for well over a year and it is still going strong. It has not turned rancid either which can happen with products containing essential oils. Very much worth the money and I will buy this product again.
