Diane Sawyer featured Hoodia on 20/20. Since then there has been a ton of products made with the active ingredient Hoodia. For some who don't know what Hoodia is, I will tell you from what I read about it. Hoodia comes from a cactus like succulent plant called Hoodia Gordonii. This plant is located in South Africa. Supposedly, the Kalahari Bushman has been using this all-natural plant as an appetite suppressant for many years. What Hoodia is supposed to do is trick your brain into thinking you are full after you begin eating. Since this tricks the brain, so to speak, you eat less and don't feel hungry. Does this actually work?
I purchased Hoodia X57 at Wal-Mart. I thought well I tried everything else so why not try this. What you do is take two capsules in the morning with a full glass of water an hour before breakfast. You do this also before lunch and dinner. I followed the directions like they were given. I have to say that I do feel that this works to some extent. I had a bad problem of getting bored at home and so I would snack off and on through out the day. I noticed after I began taking them I didn't feel like snacking. After eating about half my meals I would begin feeling full and stop eating. I've only taken Hoodia X57 for a few days, but I do feel it is working. I have yet to step on a scale though to see if I have actually lost weight.
So far I haven't noticed any side effects. It does say that this is all-natural and won't have any side effects or interfere with any other medications. There is one down side to this though; you have to remember to take two pills an hour before you eat. This can be hard to remember because sometimes our lives get so busy that we just forget. Other than this one thing I have nothing bad to say about this diet product. I will be doing a follow-up to this article in a month and report back on weight loss. I would try Hoodia X57 just for the boredom of snacking. I do find that it helps with that. Time will tell if I actually lose weight!
