Product Review: Icing Body Lotion

Icing carries body lotion at an affordable price, and is a hit among young teens and younger children. They are a popular brand to appease younger girls, and the body lotion is actually not of too bad of a quality, a great gift for younger girls. It should be well inside the budget, and a gift that they'll love. The body lotion has its pros and cons and while its cons are not too bad, I personally would not purchase the product again.

The body lotion can be purchased for a cheap price, and comes in a plastic clear bottle that shows you the inside content, and can be applied all over the body hence the name body lotion. The body lotion comes with a cute little accessory with it that makes the lotion that much more appealing. The package of the body lotion appeals to the younger ladies, and is quite adorable; however, this big bottle of lotion is not for you to carry around everywhere in case you have dry skin. It's really a bottle that should be left at home. Also, the lotions come in different colors that appeal to younger girls; for example, the one that I have in my hand right now is of a light pink color.

The lotion quality itself is not too bad. It does moisturize the skin, and goes on light, and smooth and refreshing. The texture of the lotion is pretty refreshing, and the light consistency of it makes it easy to apply throughout the whole body. The lotion is not as good quality of some other top brands, but it does do its job of moisturizing the skin.

The lotions have a nice scent to it that smells of flowers, and will linger long after applying the lotion. One bad thing about it is that it may cause some allergies due to its scent, and the product was not allergy tested meaning that before giving the product to younger children, it may be best to test them for allergies in case. The fragrance may also be too strong to some children or perhaps they won't like it; however, the scent is not too strong generally, and should not be too bad.

One thing that I could not stand was the sparkles that they kept in the lotion. Many girls love the sparkles and find them as a pro instead of a con; however, the sparkles can cause allergies or irritation. Personally, I don't like the sparkles because I think that they are too much. There are too many sparkles within the lotion that are huge in size meaning that there is no way you would miss them. The sparkles are too noticeable, and for body lotion doesn't seem appropriate to me. Because of the body sparkles, I personally would not purchase the product again but I know that many younger girls love the body sparkles, and find them as one of the pros of the product.
