One of the moisturizing shaving creams I just tried this morning was the Kiss My Face Moisture Shave in Key Lime. I can say it definitely smells like key lime and it does do a great job with moisturizing my legs while I shave. I even like the natural ingredients in this shaving cream that help nourish and protect my skin from nicks and cuts. However, I definitely think this is a summery shaving cream more of a winter one, but I guess if you have the winter blues you could use it to help, you think of summer.
The Kiss My Face Moisture Shave in Key Lime comes in a white bottle with green labeling. The bottle is squeezable and contains about 3.4 ounces of thick creamy moisturizing shaving cream inside of it that again has a strong lime scent to it. The shaving cream is made with natural ingredients such as aloe, coconut oil, vitamin E and A, comfrey root, sage, horsetail, fruit extracts, goldenseal, essential oils, herbal extracts, antioxidants, minerals and soapwort. These ingredients are what help moisture, nourish and protect the skin while I shave without causing any skin irritation or dryness at all.
The first thing I do before using this lime shaving cream is rinse my skin down in the shower with plenty of warm water to help soften the skin and the hairs. Then I squeeze a large handful of the shaving cream out of the bottle and the lime scent fills the air of my shower and bathroom. After I layer my legs up really well with a nice thick layer of the shaving cream and than shave them like I usually do with a sharp clean razor. One thing I really like about this shaving cream is it does stay in place when I use it and does not run off everywhere until I am ready to rinse. Another thing I like is it does not make my shower slippery as some shaving creams do which is a bonus. Once I am done shaving, my legs they are feeling super smooth, soft, well hydrated without razor burn, and left smelling like key lime, which I find refreshing.
Since I have been using this moisturizing shaving cream I do shave less often. I also find I don't use as much moisturizer as well. I do think it would make an excellent facial shaving cream for men looking for a natural moisturizing shaving cream. I do think the shaving cream is affordable and worth using and I would recommend it to anyone just as long as they weren't allergic to the ingredients in it. I do hope those of you who try this shaving cream like I am like the way it works. I know I do and will continue to use it. I wish you all a close, happy, smooth and safe shave.
