Lemi Shine Solves Problems Caused by Hard Water
If the water in your home is considered "hard", you probably have a great deal of difficulty getting clean, clear dishes out of your dishwasher. Etching and soap scum leave a crusty, milk-scummy look on glass and silverware. This happens when the water is too hard - contains too high a level of minerals, namely calcium and magnesium. If water is hard, it cannot break down dish soaps, leaving a film on everything.
Lemi Shine gets rid of all the scum! My dishes were so bad my sister in law would balk and make faces before she would use one, despite that fact that we repeatedly informed her that they were in fact clean, and the film was just a byproduct left from our hard water situation. After a while, I stopped using my dishwasher completely because the result was so embarrassing.
Then one day, my next door neighbor, who shares our hard water table, brought home Lemi Shine from our local Wal Mart. She followed the simple cleaning directions on the bottle and couldn't praise it enough. We were all instantly hooked. We could use our dishwashers again (and with 8 kids between the two households, that's nothing to scoff at)! Our dishes came out "sparkling clean" every time. That dried on milk look was gone!
Lemi Shine is used with your dishwasher detergent. The company recommends using powdered detergent for best results. When using Lemi Shine for the first time, it is recommended that you follow label instructions and run it through your dishwasher, let it sit overnight and complete the cycle to clean the internal components of your machine. This way, the built up deposits do not get left on your dishes as they break up when you start using Lemi Shine. After that, simply use detergent in one cup and Lemi Shine in the other.

Between our two households, we have tried a multitude of products to keep dishes looking decent. Nothing has worked like Lemi Shine. It is available at retail stores nationwide, but is from a smaller manufacturer still building their customer base and is sometimes hard to find. The company asks that you ask your retailer to stock their product if you like it, and has a printable form on line you can take to the store. Post a CommentIf you are "green" at all, consider a competing product available on-line. It works just as well as Lemi-Shine. But it is all natural ingredients and not dangerous (my husband tasted it!). And the product is committed to reducing the use of plastic. They sell the product in re-used water bottles! Kinda cool... My glasses, silverware, plates all had a white film on them that appeared "baked on." No amount of scrubbing was able to remove it!! The only thing would touch the film was a special glass cleaner that we use on the window of our woodstove...even with that, it took a good five minutes to clean one glass! I bought Lemi-Shine and could not believe the difference...it's an absolute miracle...all my glasses, plates, silverware look new again after just one use!! I was ready to buy new glasses, plates, along with a new dishwasher...so this has now saved me hundreds of dollars!!! I followed the directions on the container by first running it thru my dishwasher with nothin in it. Then I filled one of the cups with Lemi-Shine and the other with Cascade... I'm actually going to call my repair man and tell him about this product...he had told me to try "Tang!"

I was at my wits end on trying to remove the film on my glassware. Noticed over the past year my metal pots and pans had become discolored and streaked, and the plastic pieces were streaked. I changed dishwasher detergent, cleaned my dishwasher withe CLR, and nothing worked. Saw LemiShine in our local BiMart store and gave it a try. Wow!!!! Everything looks like new. Thank you for a product that actually works.
WOW!! I don't know where to begin, except, this is an outstanding product. I started to notice overnight that my dishes, glassware, and black plastic utensils had a film all of a sudden. I thought it was my dishwasher and almost thought about buying a new one, then I called our local city and asked if anything had changed in our water delivery system, or if anyone else had called to complain. I even took my dishwasher apart to clean it. I tried new detergent, more then less, no change. I was getting rather upset that this was just how we were going to deal with the dishes and glasses would be for us. Then, I saw your product and for the small amount I paid for it, thought I would give it a try. We have extremely hard water in our area and my dishwasher was not getting my glasses or silverware clean from the residue of the hard water. I bought Lemi Shine at my local Wal-Mart as a last ditch effort before getting rid of my dishwasher. I followed the instructions for first use, and have used in everyload since. It is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just found the website and am going to try it on my shower doors today....they are about to get removed and go back to a shower curtain that I can replace often....I am hoping Lemi Shine can save them too!

My glasses looked horrible, I almost bought a new dishwasher! I was at Walmart and saw Lemi shine, a little pricey, but I thought I would give it a try. AMAZING RESULTS, lemi shine removed hard water stains and my glasses are now back to being served!!

Just found out about Lemishine! Lived here 5 years & had to replace my glasses they were so stained from that awful film! First bought lemishine to clean the dishwasher but than found out you could add it to the detergent & wash the dishes. It's a miracle! It not only brought back the shine to my glasses but the silverware & would you believe the revere ware pots with the copper bottoms - they are over 50 years old - they look new again! I can't say enough about this product. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm 77 & needed this help!
