As I just stated, the cream itself is very thick, almost like putty, which I didn't really like at first. The heaviness prevents it from gliding smoothly on the skin ... you have to massage it in. Plus it feels heavy and sort of cake-like on my skin and leaves a bit of a sticky tacky feeling until it completely soaks in. But after it soaks in, the transformation from dull dry skin to luxurious soft supple skin starts taking place! My skin is so silky soft it's almost like a little baby's butt!
One thing I do not like is the scent. It has a very strong scent and the smell lasts for a long time. Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I do not like anything scented on my face. My husband likes the smell though, which is good because the scent lingers well into the night.
Here is what I've experienced so far -
After one night: My skin was still soft and did not feel dry when I woke up, and was almost glowing.
After several weeks: There are no more dry patches on my skin and my skin tone is a lot more even. My laugh lines around my eyes don't show up as much. I've been rubbing the leftover cream into my hands after applying it on my face at night, and even the skin on my hands feels softer. I don't really notice a difference in the firmness of my skin but the texture and dryness have dramatically improved.
After several months: People are noticing the difference in my skin tone and texture and are starting to ask what I'm doing differently.
I give Loreal Dermo Expertise Age Perfect Pro Calcium Night Moisturizing Cream 4 out of 5 stars. I would recommend it to anyone, regardless of age, who has dry skin or is just looking for a cream with a lot of moisturizing properties. I've seen it on the shelves at Walmart for about $25.00, which is a bit pricey for a 1.7 oz tub, but it's worth the money if you can afford it and don't mind the scent!

Post a CommentI should give this a try. I have a couple patches of dry skin.

Your well written view makes me want to try it! Great job. :-)
I'm not familiar with a lot of Loreal moisturizing products, so thanks for writing this. Good review!
yes Elena ... ask for some for a gift like I did ... although it's a sure sign we're getting old if we ask for aging cream. LOL
great review-I was intrigued-until I saw the $25 price-maybe someone will give it to me if I drop some hints!
I know I read this one and left a comment but apparently it didn't "stick." So here goes again. I liked it. Thanks for the information.
