I recently received a sample of the L'Oreal Youth Code Day and Night Cream Moisturizer. I have been trying it for 3 days now and so far, I am pleased with the results of this moisturizer. However, I have to say I strongly dislike the scent of this facial cream.
The L'Oreal Youth Code Day and Night Cream Moisturizer sample came in a little tear open packet that has enough cream for three days of use depending on how dry your skin is. My skin is normal so a little bit of this moisturizer cream when along ways for me. The cream is white in color and very thick, heavy, creamy and rich. The moisturizing cream contains vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, wax, glycerin, limonene, sodium benzoate, fragrance, cross polymer, dimethicone and parabens. These ingredients are a combination or natural and unnatural ingredients. The fragrance of this cream is strong and florally like a perfume and really bothers my allergies and makes my eyes water. However, the cream does work with reducing any kind of stress and aging that shows on the face.
The first thing I have been doing before using the cream is wash my face well with my daily facial cleanser. Then I simply squeeze a ting amount of the cream onto my fingertips and massage it into my cheeks, under eye area, forehead, lip area, and chin. The cream absorbs pretty fast without being greasy, but it is little bit heavy on the skin, which is way I think it makes a better night cream than day cream. When I apply the cream during the day, it does cause my makeup to smudge a bit so I have decided too only use this cream at night. I feel that at nighttime it has more time to absorb into the skin helping repair it and reduce the signs of aging and stress a lot better.
Since I have been using the cream for three days in a row I have noticed the discoloration in my face and skin go away and minimize the appearance of my little fine lines I tend to get under and around my eyes due to stress. It also does a very good job at keeping my skin hydrates, plumped up and full of life. I personally would recommend this cream for the simple facts it does hydrate, nourish and reduce signs of aging and stress, but I would not recommend it to anyone sensitive to strong fragrances as I am.
