Cost: It pays to shop around, because current prices vary from $8 - $34.00 (yes, that's thirty-four dollars!) on and off-line.
Tips: If you make your own flavored vegetable oils, filter the oil through a paper coffee filter. Tiny bits fo garlic or chilis will quickly clog the nozzle. Don't use the sprayer for anything but vegetable oils.
Cleaning your MISTO® Olive Oil Sprayer
MISTO® will need to be cleaned every 6 to 8 weeks to keep it spraying.

- Fill the MISTO® 1/2 full with hot tap water.

- Add one drop liquid detergent.
-
- Replace the sprayer top and shake the sprayer.
-
- Pump the cap 10-15 times.
-
- Spray for ten seconds.

- Leave the soapy water in the sprayer for several hours or overnight. This will break down any oil that has solidified in the sprayer.

- Fill the MISTO® 1/2 full with hot tap water.

- Replace the sprayer top and shake the sprayer.
-
- Pump the cap 10-15 times.
-
- Spray for ten seconds.

- Repeat steps 10 and 11 several times.

- Empty the hot water and refill the sprayer with 1/4 to 1/3 cup of oilve oil.

Troubleshooting your MISTO® Olive Oil Sprayer
IMPORTANT: If you can't remember the last time you cleaned the sprayer, clean it and see if the problem goes away.
Symptoms: No spray, sputtering spray, stream of oil, or dribbling
Problem: If this happens right after you refill the sprayer, you probably didn't get the seal reinstalled correctly.
Solution: Remove the sprayer assembly and replace it, making sure you get the seal flat. Don't over-tighten the cap.
Problem: The pressure is too low.
Solution: Pump the top up and down a few times.
Problem: The oil has run out.
Solution: Check the oil level, and refill with 1/4 to 1/3 cup of oil.
Problem: There is too much oil in the sprayer.
Solution: Empty the sprayer and refill with the correct quantity of oil.
