MTV's Yoga workout DVD is a fun fast-paced yoga workout which is hosted by Lori from The Real World- Back to New York. . This workout offers traditional poses (upward facing dog, Downward facing dog, Tree pose, Warrior pose, etc) combined with upbeat music and faster flow than other yoga workouts. The instructor, Kristin McGee and her three students show the beginning, intermediate, and advance versions of the poses. This DVD is 53 minutes long and sells for $14.95.
How to use this product:
To see results you should use this workout three to five days a week. For faster results, combine this workout with a cardio workout. This product recommend consulting with your doctor before you begin this yoga routine.
Why I bought this product:
I purchased this DVD because I wanted a fun and effective yoga workout. I thought a yoga workout made by MTV might suit me better than the other yoga DVD's I have tried.
What I like about this product:
This is by far the best yoga DVD I have tried! I absolutely love it. I like how fast paced this workout is, other yoga workouts I have tried in the past have bored me to tears with how slow paced the moves were. I also like the fast, upbeat music they play in the background.
Another positive about this DVD, in my opinion, is it is not all "new-age" like other yoga workouts I have tried. This workout begins with a breathing sequence and the instructor, Kristin McGee is always reminds you to keep breathing through moves which is helpful. Another positive is how the students show the poses in a easy, intermediate and advanced version to suit everyones needs.
What I do not like about this product:
This workout can be very difficult if you are a beginner to yoga. You may want to try a slower paced yoga routine before trying MTV's Yoga DVD.
Where to buy this product:
You can likely purchase the MTV Yoga DVD at your local Wal-mart or Taget. If you can not find it locally, you can order the DVD from Amazon or Ebay. You can even order a used copy from Amazon for a very low price.
Overall, I give this product an A+. This is the only yoga routine I do, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a yoga workout.
