Nic's sticks by OPI is meant to be an on the go type of nail polish, all you need is the stick and you are good to go. What idea of nail polish could be simpler, no more glass bottles that could break in your purse?
To use you prime the tip of the brush down and pump three or more times. Sound easy? It wasn't that easy to use. The brush is slightly longer then it needs to be, getting the nail polish to actually come down over the brush in order to paint your nails is a challenge to say the least. If you push it down more then three times it tends to tip down the tip and over coat your nails with polish, taking twice as long to dry.
I'm old enough to remember a very similar product by Sally Hansen that was a marker instead of a brush. I found the marker a lot easier to use then these newer brush styles.
Nic's sticks by OPI nail polish doesn't last as long as some other products. I found it chipping within a few hours of application. Nic's sticks smell a lot stronger then other nail polishes too. I'm not real sure why this is the case.
I ended up trimming the brush down to a more controllable tip. It was too bushy for the length. You need long thin tips, or short bushy tips for a smooth application.

Nic's sticks by OPI can be purchased anywhere from Target to Walgreens or even eBay from the price ranges of $4.99 - $11.99. Nic's sticks by OPI nail polish is DBP free, Toluene free, and Formaldehyde free. Nic's sticks by OPI does have the best shine I have ever seen in a nail polish, and does dry faster, it just doesn't last long and chips off.
I rate Nic's sticks by OPI nail polish 3 out of 5 stars. There are loads of other types, including by Sally Hansen that doesn't chip off. Check out the Sally Hansen Color Quick for a better cheaper product.
