This cleansing mask by Noxzema contains bentonite clay, which is supposed to improve the skin's texture. Immediately after using this product my skin did feel smoother and appear more even. However, the day after use my skin is drier and flakier than it was before.
Noxzema's deep cleansing mask also features a citrus formula that is supposed to provide deep cleansing. When using this product the citrus formula gives my skin a light tingling sensation. After use, my skin does feel cleaner.
This product does smell like citrus, but it is not overpowering. Overall the scent is light and fresh. It does not smell as if it has perfumes added to it, which is a plus for those of us whose skin is sensitive to perfumes.
Another aspect of Noxzema's Continuous Clean Deep Cleansing Mask that I like is the texture. It is thick enough to feel like a mask but it is still easy to put on. When it is on my face, my face feels like it can still breathe the mask doesn't feel like a goopy mud mask.
Noxzema's cleansing mask is also easy to remove with a damp washcloth. I have found this to be true regardless of whether the mask has been on five minutes or a half hour. Light scrubbing with a washcloth is all that is necessary for removal.
Aside from making my skin a little flaky the next day, Noxzema's cleansing mask does not bother my skin. It does not make my sensitive skin break out. To avoid having the flakiness become a problem, I try not to use the product more than once a week or so.
The Noxzema Continuous Clean Deep Cleansing Mask comes in an average sized tube -- four ounces. It is priced under $10 and can be found in most drugstores or places like Target. A small amount is needed for one use, and it is recommended to use the product only two to three times a week, so the tube lasts a while.
Overall the Noxzema Continuous Clean Deep Cleansing Mask is a good product. It is affordable, lasts a while, smells nice, and does clean my skin well. If I were able to use the product more than once a week it would be even better.

Post a CommentI use to love this stuff when I was younger until I discovered it broke my skin out. I hated that I couldn't use it anymore.
