Product Review: Philosophy Surfer Girl Shimmer Lotion

Beauty & Femme
I bought the Philosophy® Surfer Girl Shimmer Lotion from a flea market last year (I love flea markets!) I found it buried in a collection of random products, and once I found it, I grabbed it!

This lotion is bright yellow with gold shimmer in it. It also has some yellow oil in it. The back label says it contains olive oil, so maybe that's what it is.

I was looking for a shimmer lotion to put on my face to brighten my skin. I tested it out immediately after I bought it. It smells like a tropical blend of coconut and orange. The gold glitter in it was very noticeable-maybe a little too noticeable if you're not careful. But it was a moisturizing lotion, and had a scent that lasts.

I smoothed some on my face. It made my face look brighter instantly. I used some on my legs, and it made my legs look tempting to touch. I was in love.

Although this lotion is perfect for me, others may have a problem with the shimmer and the shine. The shimmer is very plentiful, so it only takes a little dab to make you sparkle. Also, it is slightly oily, so your skin will have a sheen to it-which I love, personally. It has a bright yellow color which was probably done to make your skin look more bronze, but I'm already bronze so it doesn't do anything for me in that area.

Philosophy is kind of expensive, so if you have the money to spare, I will definitely recommend it. For those that don't, check out my review of Avon Pomegranate & Mango Shimmering Body Lotion.
