Product Review of Pink T3 Pro Ionic Tourmaline Hair Dryer - Best Dryer for Damaged Hair
Transform Dry Damaged Hair into Silky Soft Tresses with T3 Pro Dryer
The dryer I used previously (I don't remember the name) had so called "ionic" benefits, where the positive and negative charged ions were supposed to be the perfect match for making your hair silky and smooth. However, it didn't work half as well as this T3 dryer does, was loud, and ran way too hot. As a matter of fact, it probably contributed to more damage than I'd like to know. Every day, I'd have to put gobs of anti-frizz lotion in my hair before drying it, and then smooth it down with even more product afterwards. If I were you, I would ditch my old hair dryer immediately and purchase this one!! My previous dryer must've been so drying to my hair, because I could actually feel the burning hot heat & was not able to keep it directed in one area for more than 2 seconds.
The first morning I had the dryer, I went about my normal routine of washing & conditioning my hair. It dried naturally for about 10 minutes before I took the dryer to it. Flipping my medium length head of very thick coarse hair over, I started drying it upside down (starting with the thickest under-layers). As I dried it, I ran my fingers through to give it some separation and help the air circulate better, for even faster drying.
Right away, I was impressed at 1) how light-weight the dryer is 2) How quiet it is, even on full power! and 3) that the airflow is not scorching hot. I used the dryer on the highest speed, and the hottest air possible. Now, normally it takes 7 or 8 minutes to dry my hair - yes, I do have it timed! With the T3 dryer, it only took 4 minutes! For a busy person such as myself, the saving of those extra minutes daily already made it worth the price.
As I dried my hair, I could tell an amazing difference in softness. When I flipped my head back over, I kept the diffuser nozzle pointed down (to help straighten and flatten the hair cuticle) and gave it a cold shot to achieve a smooth glossy look. I normally need to use a straightening iron after blow drying, because my hair will stick out in every direction. But, the air-flow from this dryer was so gentle that it kept my naturally wavy hair much more straight than my old dryer, and barely any styling was needed.
When drying was complete, my hair felt like it had never been touched by hair color or a straightening iron. A couple of days ago, I'd even had my hair highlighted, so it should've been at it's most stubborn frizzy state ever. As of this morning, my hair was transformed and reborn ~ the T3 has given a new standard to hair dryers!
Now that I've owned this piece of miracle equipment for 3 months, I'm SO impressed at the condition of my hair. It's grown significantly and is much less damaged. When I went to the salon for a cut yesterday, my stylist noticed how long my hair had grown in only 3 months. She asked if I was doing anything different, so I told her about my new T3 dryer. Agreeing that my hair was healthier and longer than she'd ever seen it, she was going to start recommending the dryer to clients. I have no split ends, no dry fuzzy patches, and fewer fly-aways. Stop damaging your hair and make the investment in this awesome dryer!
