Product Review: Profectiv Mega Growth Conditioner

The smell is delightful. It smells very tropical. There is a faint smell of bananas coming from the conditioner. People could smell it in my hair and I got many compliments for the smell.

Breakage
Without the product on my hair small pieces would fall out about half an inch long. With the product on hair fell out less often, but when hair did fall out it was usually two to three inches.

Texture
It is white, creamy and thin. If you leave it in a warm place it will get very watery.

Effectiveness
After applying the product my hair felt less dry, but it was nothing amazing. I used the product as a detangler. I would spray my hair with water first. it does really help detangle hair. My hair did not experience mega growth

Worth Cost?
This product is NOT worth the cost. It has many of the same key ingredients as hair grease. It is basically expensive creamy hair grease. I would not guy it again or recommend it to anyone I cared about.

Hair Reaction
Single strand knots occur in dry, curly hair. Keeping your hair moisturized will prevent many knots. Unfortunately, Profectiv did not do this to me. Everyday I get more and more knots. I will have to cut off half an inch from my ends to get rid of most of the knots. The cream did make my curls more defined, but it made my hair and scalp feel dirty. As soon as I put it on I could not wait to wash it out. Profectiv products are pretty thick, and this product is on the thinner side. I have split ends here and there, but they aren't as widespread as the single strand knots.
