For such a small amount of money this little humidifier really works hard. By running it at night I have found the humidifier makes it easier to breath, no more stuffy dry nose or itchy dry eyes when I wake up in the morning. And now thanks to the ReliOn Cool Moisture Humidifier I am no longer getting static shocks when touching metal objects, or that annoying static cling while I am getting dressed in the morning.

The ReliOn Cool Moisture Humidifier, model rcm 832N is portable, easy to carry and easy to fill. There is a handle on top of the water container that makes carrying the unit easy even when it is filled with 1.25 gallons of water. To fill the humidifier there is a large opening approximately 4 inches across in the bottom of the container, the container itself measures about 6 inches tall making it easy to fit under a sink faucet for filling with water.

The ReliOn Cool Moisture Humidifier, model rcm 832N has a fan that the blows the invisible mist out into the air. There are 2 humidity settings. The humidifier should be set at least 6 inches from the wall to allow proper airflow in and out of the system. The fan is creates a nice steady white noise, which also helps me too sleep better.

There is filter in the humidifier that traps unwanted minerals and bacteria from being dispersed into the air you are breathing. The filter that is in the ReliOn Cool Moisture Humidifier, model rcm 832N can be cleaned in the sink and re-used. When it comes time to replace the filter you will find that they can be purchased at a fair priced.

The humidifier itself should be cleaned weekly. The process is easy and there are not any expensive chemicals required. After lifting off the humidifier's water container, remove the filter and the removable filter tray. Take the filter out of the tray and fill the tray with undiluted white vinegar let this soak for at least 20 minutes then clean the tray with a soft cloth or soft brush. his will remove the water scale buildup. To disinfect the water tank and the removable tray fill the tank with a gallon of water and one teaspoon of bleach, pour a little of this solution into the removable tray. Let the tank and the tray stand for 20 minutes then rinse out both pieces until the bleach smell is gone. That's all there is too it, put the removable tray and filter back into the base, fill the tank with water and the humidifier is back in operation.
