Then, when flat irons became popular, I just knew I had to try one and see if it would be able to control my hair. I bought a very expensive one that touted it was used by the movie stars in Hollywood, and it worked all right, but by the end of the day, my hair had curled again. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I continued to use it, but after a couple of weeks, it stopped working. Rather than send it back or try to get it repaired, I went to the store in search of another brand that might work.
There were so many. They came in all sizes, from a half inch in width all the way up to two inches. The expensive one I had had been one inch in width and took a long time to straighten all of my hair, so I decided to try a wider width so I could straighten my hair faster. This time around, I bought a very inexpensive straightener one and half inches wide. This one barely worked at all. It didn't get hot enough and didn't completely straighten the curl out of my hair. By this time, I was beginning to get used to the idea that I wasn't meant to have straight hair. I thought I would never be able to wear my hair in a sleek design like I'd see so many people wearing.
So, it was back to the store. This time, I looked at the straighteners a bit more carefully. I realized that each brand had different heat settings and of course, the hotter the setting, the straighter the hair would become. I checked out several brands, but when I saw the Remington brand, I knew I'd have to try it. Remington made excellent products that were always reliable, so I thought I'd give it a try. I found a reasonably priced flat iron that worked equally well on wet or dry hair and was two inches wide! The heat settings had a great range from 15 to an incredible 30. It even had a gauge indicator that was red in the very hot settings, just to remind you that these settings could burn the hair if care wasn't taken.
As soon as I got home, I plugged it in and found that it only took a couple of minutes to heat up. Then, to my surprise, I ran it through my hair and it worked better than any of the other straighteners I'd ever used. Perhaps best of all, the Remington Wet 2 Straight made my hair very straight and very silky, and my hair didn't re-curl, even in humidity. No only does the Remington work like a professional straightener, but it's reliable and my hair has never looked better.

Post a CommentThis straightener really works its awsome! Just somethings I think it works better in damp damp hair you have to read the setting and ajust it for your hair type. I start off on red when hair is wet, then go to purple for damp, and finish with blue. It takes the same amount of time as blow drying out but leaves my hair looking so much better! My hair has never looked this good! Awsome love the Remington Wet 2 Straight well worth the price.............
