I thought that the tub was reasonably priced, about 20 dollars if I remember correctly, I have found the Safety 1st Comfy Duck Bath Center for cheaper since then though. However the price wasn't the first thing that attracted me to the bath. I liked that it came with a newborn sling, something that I knew would come in handy for the baths that were going to be given while my son still had an umbilical cord stub.
After my son was born I used the bath with the newborn sling attached. Honestly it was very helpful, still it being my son's first bath he was rather upset about the whole thing. However in less than three weeks my son had a belly button that was able to be submerged in water. In that amount of time I think I gave him about 4 or 5 baths using the newborn sling. So it is hard to recommend the Safety 1st Comfy Duck Bath Center for the newborn sling to someone if they will only use it 4 or 5 times.
As for the tub portion of the bath, now that I could fill it and lay my son in the bath that was what I was using. Even though the bath claimed it had a thermometer so you could make sure that the water was not too hot, I just went off of common sense and instincts because I didn't think that the thermometer was that reliable. The pitcher that the Safety 1st Comfy Duck Bath Center came with had a lid with holes but the lid would never stay on and so I didn't use the lid. I don't think that a thermometer or a pitcher is something that you will need to worry about making sure that they come with the baby bath that you choose to get.
I have to admit though, the thing that bothered the most about this bath wasn't the poor thermometer or pitcher or the fact that the newborn sling wasn't used that long. It was the shape of the Safety 1st Comfy Duck Bath Center, my son could not continuously stick his feet in the water so the were constantly exposed to the air in the room and I couldn't add more water because then it would come up to my son's ears. For that reason the length of the bath time was limited and I didn't think that was very fun for my son. I am not sure why the design of the tub was like that, I image maybe to avoid splashes, I don't know, but I did not like it.
When my son was 3 months we moved and I didn't bother taking the Safety 1st Comfy Duck Bath Center. Winter was approaching and while I was bathing him I didn't want his little feet up in the cold air. I am sure that it would have held my son until he could sit up though but I am not sure if my son could have had enough water the cover his feet and not his ears when he was older.
I think the main thing that everyone is wondering about Safety 1st Comfy Duck Bath Center is whether or not I would recommend it. I will put it this way, when my son was born he was in the 90 percentile in length and has long legs. Therefore I am not sure if other babies would fit the same way that he did. However when I have another baby, someday in the future hopefully, I will not purchase the Safety 1st Comfy Duck Bath Center for the baby bath of choice.

We had one of these for our baby and loved it. Excellent review!
Amazing what changes in a matter of 3 years. I had the model of this bath tub back in 2003. It's come a long way!
My daughter had one of these for her baby and we all thought it would be great. But soon the kitchen sink became the favorite bathing spot. I think these can be nice when babies are really young but not at all necessary.
I think that most baby bathtubs are poorly designed. I used a different one, also by Safety 1st, I believe, and it was good in some aspects but overall I hated it. The kitchen sink worked much better.
