Product Review: Sally Hansen Color Quick Nail Pen

I love nail polishes. You will always see me with my nails painted. Even when I want my nails to look natural, I have to apply a coat of clear nail varnish. You can say that I am an addict, but it is probably one of the best addictions to have.

Every time I spot some new or different nail product, I simply have to try it out, which is how I have accumulated many different brands of nail colors so far, and am constantly adding to the collection.

As far as I know, Sally Hansen is a brand not sold in India. Even when I was in the UAE, I could never find a store that was selling this popular American brand. But after checking out some online adverts about Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Color Pen,

I was very keen to try out the product.

I gave in to temptation and made a purchase for Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Color Pen in 'Clear Opal' and 'Sheer Pink', as I knew I couldn't go wrong with these safe colors.

The product promised easy-to-handle, spill-proof pen with fast drying colors. And did it deliver? Absolutely!

Let's face it girls, how many of us have the time and patience to spare 15-20 minutes of our day just to let our nails dry? Personally, I find it quite a hassle, and usually go for the 'quick-dry' nail polishes.

Although as you must already have known, there are many of the quick dry varieties nail polishes available, some of which are sold at very affordable rates. So, why should one buy Sally Hansen's Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Color Pen?

In my experience, it is by far the fastest drying nail polish. But unlike other brands that promise the 'instant dry' effect, the texture of this polish is great as it does not harden. Even after a month passed since I bought these pens, the polish still spread smoothly over my nails, which is quite an achievement.

The pen is easy to use and navigate. Since it is a pen, there is no chances of spilling or applying too much, as only a required amount comes out every time you click the pen.

The applicator brush is different from other nail polish brushes. It is very soft and glides over the nail with extreme ease. This pen can also be used for pedicures.

One disappointing aspect of the product is the lack of variety in colors, as it only comes in 8 shades. They should add some chocolate, peach and plum colors, and I will definitely buy them.

I bought this product for $7.49, Which I didn't find too expensive. And with the amount of use I am getting out of it, I would have gladly paid the full amount ($9.49) for it.

Overall, I am pleased to have stumbled across the advert for this product. It is one of the best and convenient nail polishes I have used. Kudos to Sally Hansen for creating this innovative product for women on the go.
