Product Review of Salon Selectives Color Sheild

Salon Selectives offers a wide variety of hair care products. The Salon Selectives line of products includes shampoo, conditioner and styling products. Salon Selectives has an astronomical amount of products to specialize your daily hair care ritual. I discovered Salon Selectives Color Shield daily protectant Leave in Conditioner. This is type D of the Helen Curtis Hair Care regimen system. I was drawn to this product because it advertises you will "lock in up to 30 percent more color between treatments". If a conditioner could help extend your hair color 30 percent that would be pretty amazing. My hair gets a little crazy and curly when it is humid, so I consider a good conditioner to be as close to a best friend as possible.

Salon Selectives Color Shield Leave in conditioner supposedly creates a shield of Uv filters and conditiners. Also this product is supposed to act as a detangling agent. Salon Selectives Color Shield Leave in Conditioner also claims to help make your hair healthier when you blow dry.

Normally leave in conditioners do not appeal to me, as I find most of them to be too heavy and sticky feeling. Salon Selectives Color Shield Leave in Conditioner appealed to me because it is in a spray bottle form. I found this to be convenient, and not having to apply the conditioner with my hands was a unique feature of the Salon Selectives product. Of course I found that for the best performance I needed to add several other Helen Curtis Salon Selectives products to my hair care regimen.

You can apply this Salon Selectives conditioner to wet hair, or dry hair it is great for use before blow drying or curling your hair. Then style as desired. I was not very satisfied with the performance of this leave in conditioner. Most of the selling points of Salon Selectives Color Shield Leave in Conditioner were simply not true. This conditioner did not extend the hair dye at all, let alone thirty percent. The detangling agent was non-existent. I was disappointed by the price and performance of Salon Selectives Leave in Conditioner. However, this hair product smells really lovely. I loved smelling my hair after using it. The product was priced somewhat high for the lack of performance. I like Neutrogena leave in conditioner, but I prefer to use Aussie three-minute miracle. I achieve better results with Aussie. I would not recommend the Salon Selectives hair care regimen, for your money Suave will produce better results.
