The Sea Minerals Purifying Clay Facial Bar comes in a red box and the facial bar itself is 3 ounce and very easy to handle. The color of the soap is a clay like color and has a clay like smooth texture to it. The only ingredients in this facial bar are minerals from the sea and vegetable ingredients to help nourish, cleanse and absorb the oils in the skin without overly drying it out, which I really like. The facial bar does not have a strong fragrance to it either, which is another thing I really like about the bar because my skin is sensitive to fragrances. I also like that this facial bar is earth friendly and completely natural to use without harsh ingredients in it.
The way I have been using this clay facial bar is by rinsing my face down with plenty of warm water and than taking the bar and rubbing it all over my face and skin until it is all lathered up. The bar does lather up well, but not like a traditional facial soap bar does because this one actually contains clay in it. The clay sticks to the skin and draws out the oils and impurities while nourishing and cleansing my skin gently. Once my skin and face are lathered up well, I simply rinse my face down with more warm water to get it clean and than I splash it with cold water to shrink and close my pores up so the nasty oils, dirt and bacteria cannot get into them and cause more acne breakouts. Now I only use this bar once a day because if I use it twice my skin does become dried out, which I don't want because when the skin is dried out it tends to cause more acne breakouts, redness and discomfort to my skin. I have noticed since using this facial bar my acne does not breakout anymore and my skin is clear, softer and my complexion is more evened out.
I would recommend the Sea Minerals Purifying Clay Facial Bar to any teen or adult to use to help combat oily skin and clear acne breakouts up because it has been working well for me this summer. I do think this bar is one of the most affordable and effective facial bar I have ever used. I will continue to use this in the future when my skin decides to become oily again. I wish you all the best of luck with getting your oily skin and breakouts under control again.
