Product Review: Straight Ahead Style-Starting Daily Shampoo by Frizz Ease

Step 1 - Cleanse

Sophie S
Do you struggle to tame dry, frizzy hair each day? Many hair care products are effective at nourishing and controlling dry hair, but they fall short when it comes to relaxing frizzy hair. Straight Ahead™ Style-Starting daily shampoo by Frizz Ease® is designed to tame dry, frizzy hair by combining the use of essential moisturisers and "frizz-fighting silicone" for a sleeker, smoother look. The shampoo comes in a 10fl oz (295ml) sized bottle. You can buy Straight Ahead™ Style-Starting daily shampoo from Walgreen's for $5.99.

The Straight Ahead™ Style-starting daily shampoo is the first hair care step, step 1 - cleanse, from the John Frieda Company. Use it as you would your usual shampoo, gently massaging the shampoo into your hair to build a lather, rinse and then repeat the process if necessary. Unlike many shampoos, the Straight Ahead™ Style-Starting daily shampoo provides instant results. Even while the hair is still wet, it smoothes and aligns frizzy hair for straight styling. But if you have curly hair, you will find that it can actually help to boost your curls!

After you have towel dried your hair, you will notice that as it continues to dry it will not become hard to handle and frizzy, as it usually does. Hair styling is easier as the hair lies flatter against your head and it also looks smoother. Frizzy hair feels very dry and brittle to the touch. This can also make it look dull. But the Straight Ahead™ Style-Starting daily shampoo will leave it feeling softer. It will also have a shine to it, which in turn, will make it look healthier and more hydrated.

Straight Ahead™ Style-Starting daily shampoo is safe and gentle enough to use on colour treated hair, so you do not have to worry about your hew hair colour fading if you choose to use this product. This shampoo can be used every day for a sleek new look. If you do not use the shampoo every day, the results will last for the first day, but will gradually begin to wear off, so it is best used more frequently and not mixed with any other shampoo or the results will not be as good.
The "salon look" can be achieved for a lot less money if you do it yourself! Your hair will have new body to it and will look much better and healthier than if you just stick with a shampoo that only controls dry hair. Dry, frizzy hair can really benefit from Straight Ahead™ Style-Starting daily shampoo. For further information about this product, go to www.johnfrieda.com or call 1-800-521-3189.

I knew about the Frizz Ease hair serum, but I had no clue about this. You didn't mention a condition for after shampooing and I have to have conditioner. I have really long hair that not only gets frizzy from humidity, it gets ratty. I am definitely going to check this product out. Thanks!

I've used Frizz-Ease products before too. They are generally pretty good.
