Product Review: Suave Kids Shampoo

I was in search of a new kids shampoo to use on my two children when I came across Suave Kids shampoos. My children's old baby shampoo just no longer was doing the job and was leaving build up on my children's scalp. It was time for something new. I had used Suave shampoos before on myself and loved how clean and fresh they left my hair. I was drawn to the fact the kids shampoos were so cheap and also tear free. I picked up a large family size bottle for less then two dollars to try on my darling children that night in the bath.

Suave Kids are a shampoo and conditioner in one. All Suave Kids products are tear free and save for use on young children. I was drawn to the fruity smells of the shampoos and my children loved the brightly colored bottles with animals on them. The shampoos come in numerous scents and colors so there is something for everyone's taste. The bottles even had fun facts on the back that my husband really gets a kick out of.

Our first use of the Suave Kids product was a complete success. Both my children's hairs came out smelly fruity and fresh and most of all the hair was clean. Normally bath time was a hassle trying to fight my children to hold still as I shampooed their hair. With Suave Smoothers my children sat calmly and allowed me to shampoo their hair while they played in the tub. My daughter even commented on how the shampoo did not make her eyes hurt like other shampoos mommy had used.

I was also impressed on how the shampoo/conditioner mix also left both my children's' hairs untangled and free of knots, even in my daughter's curls! No more screaming while I brushed her hair. Most of all, I could not get over how shiny their hair was. Other shampoos seemed to make both my children's hair dull from the build up that was forming on their scalps, but not with Suave Kids.

After extended use of the product bi-nightly in my children's' hair I found no sign of build up. My children's cradle cap seemed to clear up a little bit and their hair was always soft and shiny. I was hooked.

I since then have only purchased Suave Kids Smoother shampoo for my children. I have used it also on my own hair with the same great results. For the price of the product it really does the job. I recommend the shampoo to any family with children on a budget.

Overall, Suave Kids shampoos are a life saver in our household. The whole family loves the fruity scent and how fresh and clean it leaves everyone's hair. Tangles and knots are a problem of the past and we even have a pretty penny left in our pocket!
