I bought it because, as a black woman, Suave has always been very good for my course and sensitive hair. It's good for any kind of course, sensitive scalp or fine hair.
What I Use:
Suave Lavender Shampoo. This shampoo is more of a gel. It is clear and I only use the lavender kind for the smell. It is not too strong but smells very sweet, like a fruit for the whole day after washing your hair with it. What works best with the shampoo is the lavender Suave conditioner.
Suave Lavender Conditioner. The conditioner is very cool. It softens course hair tremendously. It is more like a paste but it smooths out evenly through the hair and is even thicker than the shampoo. You can feel it going through your hair follicles and the pores of your scalp.
Why You Should Use Suave:
Shampoo
1) It is great for course hair. If you have tangles, knots, an afro or really curly hair, it's the perfect product. It's so soft and just smooths your hair out when in the shower.
2) The smell is so refreshing. There are all kinds of other scents that you can and they all have an aloe in the that softens your hair.
3) Suave is a very inexpensive product. On of the best and most inexpensive out there.
Conditioner
1) Going back to helping course hair, the longer the conditioner stays in, the straighter and softer your hair will be.
2) Going back to the smell, it does smell like fresh fruit and it stays in even after rinsing it out.
3) It feels so smooth, not like other conditioners. Your scalp just feels light and massaged. It doesn't give a tingling sensation but it is easier to massage your head with it.
4) When you dry your hair, it doesn't stand up like a rooster's. Especially for courser hair, this is great. It has body but not too much body so that you can style it any way you like.
Other Recommended Suave Products:
I've used the Suave lavender lotion as well. It feels really good and smells terrific but it can dry out your skin if you use too much. It also leaves a residue right after use so you can use it when relaxing at home, not just before going out. If you want more information on other Suave products, go to www.suave.com.

Post a CommentI'm so allergic to alot of beauty products because of the perfume or scent ingredients in the products. I love Suave products for many reasons, but have to rotate my items every 3 to 4 months. I would love for Suave to make a scent free shampoo and conditioner for people like me. Thanks!
I love your hair care and liquid body soap....my ultimate favorite is Ocean Breeze ..I use the shampoo and conditioner as well as the Ocean Breeze body wash and I can't help but to ask you if you could also make that sent into a perfume/cologne/body spray so I can smell that woderfull scent all day?
I love lavender and have had good results with many Suave products. This one sounds great. Nice review.
