A feature that I really like about this collection is that the color panels on the drawers are interchangeable. This way, you can change the colors of the furniture to match any theme that happens to end up in your child's room. There are pastel colors available as well if you plan to use it in a girl's room.
The furniture is very sturdy and durable. Since it is all made out of metal and wood, there is nothing breakable about it. I can easily see this furniture lasting through several children in a family or growing up with just one. The furniture does have sharp edges so you may want to keep that in mind if you plan to purchase this for younger children. I'm sure some foam around the corners would be enough to keep it safe until they get older. This way, you would not need to buy another entire set of furniture. It does not look childish but it will appeal to children as well because of the amount of color.
I am very pleased with the size of all the drawers in the collection. They have a ton of room for storing anything you can think of. Lots of children's bedroom sets have small drawers because children are small - but this does not allow the set to grow with the child. My son has a TV, DVD player, and two game consoles and there is plenty of room on the TV stand to store all of this.
I found this set of furniture to be a very worthwhile investment. It is strong enough to stand up to my younger children and all the things that young boys do to their furniture. It still looks great and I'm sure it will continue to wear well until the boys are old enough to move out of the house. This is a wonderful product that will really grow with your child.
