A good face wash is important to me because at times I am prone to blemishes. I used to use Clearasil Daily Face Wash, but once I found out about the animal testing I could no longer in good conscience buy the product. When I was searching for an alternate facial cleansing product, I discovered the Tea Tree Oil Daily Foaming Facial Wash from The Body Shop. At $13 per bottle, it definitely wasn't the cheapest face wash on the market, but since I loved so many other products from The Body Shop, I decided I would give it a try.
The Tea Tree Oil Daily Foaming Facial Wash comes in a bottle with a pump; inside the bottle, the product is liquid, but once it is dispensed from the pump it magically transforms into a light, airy foam. When I first used the product, I was surprised at just how soft and luxurious the product felt on my face. The face wash had a familiar, somewhat medicinal tea tree oil smell, and after lathering the product on my face, it rinsed away cleanly and completely with little effort. The Tea Tree Oil Daily Foaming Facial Wash left my face feeling very clean and free of oil. After I got out of the shower and dried off, I noticed my face felt a little dry, which was a problem a little dab of facial moisturizer quickly solved.
As I continued to use the product, I did notice an improvement in the clarity and firmness of my skin. Besides for the relatively high price and the occasional facial dryness, I really liked using the product. The Tea Tree Oil Daily Foaming Facial Wash from the Body Shop is a high quality product, and the tea tree oil used in it is obtained through a Community Trade agreement, so I know that my purchase is helping those in developing countries to earn fair and honest wages for themselves. If you are looking for a basic, high-quality face wash that hasn't been tested on animals, I would highly recommend the Tea Tree Oil Daily Foaming Facial Wash from the Body Shop. The product can be purchased at any Body Shop retail location nationwide, or on the Body Shop's website at http://www.thebodyshop.com
