Product Review of Temparin One Step Lost Filling Repair by Dentek

Angel
My new dentist has been charging me an arm, and a leg to get dental work done, and I have had it. I decided to look around for ways to save on dental care, without losing dental care, if you know what I mean.

I spent some time at my local Walgreens looking over their dental section. I discovered the one-step lost filling repair package by Dentek for only about $5. Five dollars verses $180, I thought I would take the chance at skipping, or at least preventing another all too quick trip to the dentist. In addition, I thought what a blessing this would be for those with low income, no health insurance or completely terrified of the dentist.

I followed the directions on the Temparin box to a T. Since Temparin is a new product to me and I really wanted and needed it to work, I thought I had better take my time. Temparin One Step Lost Filling Repair by Dentek product was after all actually recommended by my dentist while waiting for appointments.

I washed the area with warm water, even brushed my teeth, and used Listerine just to make sure it was clean. Yes I agree, that could cause problems so the second time I tried I didn't use Listerine. All the directions say on the back of Temparin's box is to clean the area, scoop a small amount out and apply it to the area, and tamp into place with a moistened cotton swab. Don't eat for 2 - 3 hours as your spit helps the material set.

I was excited. I figured that was easy and simple enough anyone could do it. I tried during the day with no luck what so ever of it holding. Therefore, I decided I would try at night while sleeping. Plenty of moisture and no eating what could be better. I got up in the morning and it was still there and set. I was surprised. I had a drink and ate something small, and it was gone. I even made sure to not chew on or even near the tooth I placed the Temparin One Step Lost Filling Repair on.

So I went online to read some reviews on the Temparin One Step Lost Filling Repair to see everyone has mixed reviews, it's either great or it's crap. I think what the problem might be is, that Dentek has several versions of this product out there. Some people aren't looking at the picture and simply reviewing one version of it, thus the wide arrange of feedback given.

Calling Dentek left me waiting for a call that never came. I had to keep calling, at which point I finally got a hold of a representative that said they were all in meetings all day. The Dentek representative told me that the tooth area has to be dry, because all the moisture could just end up dissolving it. She offered to send me the same product, but in dentist strength for free, since I no longer had the receipt.

Temparin One Step Lost Filling Repair by Dentek I rate personally, a waste of money. Do not even bother with it. Please note I am speaking of the Temparin One Step Lost Filling Repair by Dentek in the PURPLE package. I've not tried the blue one yet. And the purple one, doesn't even earn a star. Zero out of five stars.
