Product Review: Tide to Go Pen

The Magic Wand of Stain Removers

Miss Faith
I am a klutzy person. It seems like every time I eat or drink something it ends up on my shirt or in my lap. It's even worse if I dare to wear anything white. So what do I do when my klutziness kicks in and I find my clothing virtually stained from having a case of the dropsy's? Well, before I used to dab my soiled clothing with water or club soda and hope it didn't "set in" before I was able to make it home and treat it, then wash it. In the past I tried the Shout Wipes, and they seemed to work okay, but now I have a new savior that goes by the name of the Tide To Go Pen.

I have these pens basically everywhere you can imagine. And now with a 3 year old and 7 month old, I try to keep them stashed everywhere I can think. I can't express enough how much I love this product. I have only had one semi-ill experience with it, and it involved a new pair of jeans and some raspberry sauce. After dropping the raspberry sauce on my jeans I may have freaked out about the impending stain a little too much and accidentally used too much of the Tide solution. Needless to say, I ended up with a small faint spot on my new jeans, but it ended up okay because the spot looked like I had purchased them that way.

I can honestly say that I have used this product on virtually every stain known to man and it has taken it out; even on white clothing. I remember one specific incident while I was pregnant and craving hot wings. Let's just say that the wing rolled all the way down my front and over my belly. The shirt I was wearing was light pink and I automatically thought it was ruined; not to mention how embarrassed I was to leave the restaurant with BBQ sauce all over me. Instead of facing the masses covered in sauce and looking like a pig, I grabbed the Tide To Go pen from my purse and went to work. By simply dabbing away the excess sauce and then placing a napkin between me and the shirt, I was able to remove the stain and salvage the shirt. I also had another major run in with a dark cola and a white lacey shirt. In the end, the shirt was saved and you couldn't even tell that I had spilled anything on it.

I think if you are pregnant you should buy stock in this pen. A lot of women tend to be clumsier while pregnant, so if you are already all thumbs then you should seriously think about having a case of these pens on hand. Honestly, if you follow the simple directions on the package it will almost remove anything, as long as you get to the stain before it dries. Even if you're not pregnant and you already have children, the Tide To Go pen is a must as well. I really cannot express enough how everyone should have at least one of these little magic wands on hand at all times. And just because you use one doesn't mean that you have to come across as annoying as Kelly Rippa.
