OK. I love caramel. Give me a few tightly shrink wrapped caramel candies, or lay out a few caramel fudge turtles and I'm quite the happy camper. As a certified caramel crazy, I have looked far and wide for some really good caramel flavored ice cream. Caramel Cone Chaos delivers on the promise of cool, soft caramel for us caramel kooks. Yes, being kooky over caramel is a bit of a curse, and thankfully Turkey Hill has lifted it for me with their tasty light ice cream.
The ice cream lives up to its name by mixing up caramel flavor with chocolate covered cone pieces on one side of the box, and vanilla flavor with creamy caramel swirl on the opposite side. The two flavors aren't actually mixed up, so you can enjoy each one as a stand alone treat. But of course who would actually do that? Not I! The real fun here is scooping in on both sides, and digging up some of the best tasting caramel ice cream around. This light stuff tastes sweet, but never over powering in the sugar dept. The caramel swirls are of generous size, and the chocolate covered cone pieces are crispy crunchy. Turkey Hill has outdone itself with this ice cream's texture. You'd never know it was light. It tastes just as creamy and full bodied as regular ice cream.
With other Dynamic Duos flavors like PB Explosion, Coconutz, Twin Mint and Movie Night to choose from, it's a safe bet you'll find one to call your own come dessert or just snack time.
