Product Review: Vanishing Scent Bengay

Not Your Grandmother's Pain Reliever!

Garnet Miller
Exercise is a necessary evil in the "battle of the bulge". My doctor told me that I needed to lose weight. The trick was, to find an exercise that I liked to do so I would stick with it. Sometimes, my body was so sore the day after a workout that I would be stiff for days.

Fitness buffs say there's no gain without a little pain. When I took up tennis two months ago at the insistence of my sisters, I began to believe them. That was, until I discovered Vanishing Scent Bengay Non-Greasy Pain Relieving Gel.

My knees and my hamstring muscles constantly hurt the first few weeks I played tennis. I felt fine while I was playing, but the trouble began once I cooled down. Every night I would limp to the bed after a strenuous round of tennis. I couldn't even straighten my legs without moaning from pain. If it wasn't for Vanishing Scent Bengay, I would have given up on tennis altogether.

Vanishing Scent Bengay is not your grandmother's pain reliever. I was a bit skeptical at first because I didn't want to smell like liniment when I snuggled with my husband. When my grandmother had used to use it, her Bengay pain relieving formula was thick and white, like toothpaste. And, it took forever for the stuff to rub in completely.

The new and improved Vanishing Scent Bengay gel promised a fading smell and a greaseless application. I put a little dab of it on the back of my hand. The white gel was cool and rubbed in easier than lotion leaving no residue behind. To my surprise, the medicine-like scent I remembered from my childhood was gone, too. At first it smelled like menthol, but then nothing.

I applied Vanishing Scent Bengay to the backs of my thighs and my knees. As I worked the gel into my skin, the coolness turned into a warm feeling. After about ten minutes, I began to flex my legs one at a time. With each movement, there was less and less pain. In the morning, I could walk normally again.

Vanishing Scent Bengay also relieved the pains in my shoulders and elbows when I began lifting weights. The gel penetrated quickly and moving the body part worked the pain out of the muscles and the joints.

I told my sisters about my new discovery. They didn't believe that Bengay pain relieving formula had changed either until I explained it to them. I have continued to play tennis because of the relief I have found with Vanishing Scent Bengay. As long as I have that in my bag, I can take on any new sporting challenge.
