Product Review: Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Vera and Cucumber Lotion

One of the daily routines of most women (and some men too!) all over the world is the use of lotion. Lotion will help to keep your skin moisturized which is vital. Nowadays there is virtually any type of lotion to fit whatever need you want. It is really important to choose the type of lotion that will fit the bill of what you are seeking.

So let me tell you first what I was looking for when it comes to lotion. One aspect I don't like of certain kinds of lotions is the heavy feeling that it gives you after applying it. I like my skin to be moisturized but I don't want to still have that greasy and heavy feeling long after it has been applied.

So I decided to try Vaseline Intensive Care's Aloe Vera and Cucumber Lotion. Usually anything with cucumber smells great to me and the scent of this lotion smells absolutely wonderful which of course is important but isn't that much of a necessity to me as long as it smells decent. The cucumber though with the aloe vera is a perfect combination and hats off to Vaseline Intensive Care!

One aspect that I love about this lotion in particular is that it is a light body lotion meaning, yes not heavy! When you put it on your face, you don't feel like you are wearing a mask. It is great because the feeling that you get afterward is that it doesn't feel greasy. This Vaseline Intensive Care lotion was specifically made this way. It will also absorb quickly which in essence means that you won't have to sit there constantly massaging the lotion in for it to start to do its job.

After you have applied the lotion, it leaves you with a feeling of being refreshed. As if you had just taken a shower (when you haven't). It also has a cool feeling to it as well which is great on hot summer days when you just can't take the heat anymore. It is also great to apply after you have been exposed to the sun for a certain amount of time.

So would I recommend Vaseline Intensive Care's Aloe Vera and Cucumber Lotion? Absolutely I would! It gave me exactly what I was looking for in a lotion. One thing I wanted to mention before I end this article was the price and it is somewhere in the middle. It is not exactly cheap but it isn't expensive either. For a 10 oz. bottle, it was between 4 and 5 dollars. Not a bad price considering all the benefits that it provides.
