Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion accelerates the skin's ability to renew itself by including what it calls "HydroAccelerators" made of emollients and AHAs, and pro-retinol, collagen and SPF 5. Here are a list of its main ingredients and what they accomplish.
1. Emollients and skin conditioners
Emollients and skin conditioners are substances that soften the skin. Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion uses emollients and skin conditioners such as dimethicone, mineral oil, retyinyl palmitate, collagen amino acids, lecithin, glycine soybean sterol, petrolatum, tocopheryl acetate, sunflower seed oil, and sodium PCA. The emollients in Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion provide extra moisturization helping to relax fine lines and wrinkles.
2. Humectants
The humectants present in Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion derive their moisturizing abilities from water which they pull from the nearest available source onto our outer layer of skin where it is needed. As a result, humectants help to soften and soothe the skin. The humectants used in Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion are glycerin, urea and lactic acid.
3. Alpha hydroxy acids
Alpha hydroxy acids, or AHAs, are a group of natural acids that cause exfoliation of the skin. The use of AHAs makes skin appear smoother and softer because of the removal of dead skin cells. Because of this removal of dead skin cells, AHAs in the Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion can lighten discoloration of the skin as well. In a clinical study, as reported on the Vaseline website, women using Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion saw a 32% reduction in age spots. I have noticed a lighter appearance in the small brown spots on my hands and arms after only 6 days of use.
Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion claims to use 30% more alpha hydroxy acids than the leading lotions. The AHAs contained in the Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion are potassium lactate, lactic acid, and sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate.
Your skin is more sensitive to sunlight when using alpha hydroxy acids. When using product with AHAs, it is recommended to avoid sunlight or to use proper protection when going outside in the daylight. Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion includes SPF 5. However, this is very minimal sun protection so I only use this lotion at night.
Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion claims to immediately replenish lost moisture and to combat dullness. In my experience, both statements are true. Upon application to my hands and body, my skin looks brighter and feels quite smooth. My knees and elbows appear less rough and feel much softer.
Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion, also, claims that in four weeks I should see a diminishing appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and an improvement in skin elasticity. According to its website, a clinical study has shown that women using Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion saw a 28% improvement in skin elasticity.
After only five days of applying Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion, I could see major improvements to the skin of my feet. For the past couple of years, the tops of my toes had rough, brown patches of skin on them that appeared cracked and wrinkly as a result of my penchant for cute open toed shoes. To combat the patchiness and dryness, I had tried everything. I moisturized right out of the shower and put on socks. To no avail, the unsightly rough and lined areas on the top of my toes would not go away. Since using Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion, the top of my toes is noticeably softer, smoother and less lined. My toes appear lighter in color matching the rest of my feet! The difference from using Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion on my feet has been amazing.
Vaseline Intensive Care Renewal Age Redefining Body Lotion is a new product that you do not want to miss. From less than a week of use and seeing great results, I love it. I can only imagine how great my skin will look a month from now.

Post a CommentThis is a miracle lotion! I have never glowed so much even if I say so myself, Thanks to Vaseline intensive care, renewal age redefining lotion. Never been so pleased with ANY body lotion the way I am with this. Pity I can't seem to find it in the UK. I wonder why..
VASELINE HAS BEEN BANNED FOR SKIN CARE USE IN THE EU DUE TO EVIDENCE IN ITS LINK WITH BREAST CANCER!!!
Here's the article:
Petrolatum is listed as a probable human carcinogen in the European Union's Dangerous Substances Directive (UNECE 2004), and its use in cosmetics will be banned by September 2004 with the following caveat: "The classification as a carcinogen need not apply if the full refining history is known and it can be shown that the substance from which it is produced is not a carcinogen." Chemical industry sources have interpreted this clause to mean that petrolatum will continue to be allowed in cosmetics in the EU if it is refined and meets PAH purity standards for food set by FDA (Faust and Casserly 2003). Even this purity standard does not set direct limits on PAH content, but instead relies on a light absorption test as an indirect indicator of contamination.
In the U.S. no requirement for refinement applies for petrolatum in personal care products.
SO
I'm glad to hear that this product has worked well for you too.
I've got to tell you - this is a super product. I has almost eliminated all of my sun damage on my arms. I no longer want to hide them under long sleeves. Last summer I started using this great product and went on vacation in the fall to Florida. I kept using Vaseline Intnestive Care "Renewal" and I did not get new blotches. It is a silky product that absorbs quickly (I really apprecate that). So keep it on the market. Great product at a great price.
Thanks for the good tip, Patricia.
I have had this problem, too, with all of the lotions that I have bought that utilize a pump dispenser. When I can't pump out anymore lotion, I usually keep the the bottle of lotion turned upside down when it is not in use, and I twist off the cap and squeeze what's left of it into my hand when I needed. It's kind of pain doing it this way though.
